A portable remote-controlled safety warning system designed to alert railway track personnel of an approaching train, enabling them to move clear of the track in time.
Overview
Railway track maintenance personnel often work on or close to tracks that remain open to normal train traffic. Noise from tools and machines, together with the concentration required for maintenance work, can make it difficult for workers to notice an approaching train.
Sirveen’s Gangman / Worksite Safety Hooter provides a clear remote-operated warning at the worksite. A lookout positioned away from the work area can activate the hooter from a distance of up to 1.2 km when an approaching train is observed.
Sirveen is a Part-I approved source for the Gang / Worksite Remote Control Hooter and has supplied hundreds of systems to Indian Railways.

The system is developed and tested in accordance with RDSO Specification TM/SM/318, Revision 01 of 2021.
